Ah, the antelope bitterbrush. I have long admired this shrub/bush/sometimes tree, but this is the first time I’ve ever been able to work with the wood and it’s safe to say I am smitten. LOOK AT IT. The color is so unique, almost like a pinkish purple hue? I love it. I was able to turn this to just under the top layer of bark so you can still see a lot of the natural-grown cracks and whatnot. Can’t wait to get more of these out there, but get the first one while the gettin’s good.
