I sure do love the water birch. Utah’s only native birch tree, grows in really cool clusters, and has lovely red bark. Its wood is a delight to work with, too! This one’s made all the more interesting by that interesting patch of really dark wood caused by some kinda weird bark inclusion or rotted section or something. It’s neat!
