This one is all sorts of bonkers, haha. Chatoyancy? Check. Rotted out wood that I hand sanded away to reveal just some gnarly cracks? Check. Huge bark inclusion? Check. Spalted stripes? Check. MORE CHATOYANCY? CHECK AND CHECK.

Honestly, it’s ragged looking, sanded unevenly because some parts of the wood was WAY weaker than others, and yet, one of the neater looking vases I’ve made in a bit.
